Start with a question, find the sources and check the answer. Indexing stays local; to write an answer, the configured provider receives the question and selected excerpts.
Run your automations by asking
“Chase the overdue invoices.” Hermes triggers the right automation — the same reviewed, safe recipes already running on your server.
It remembers your business
Persistent memory means it learns how you work — your clients, your wording, your process — instead of starting from scratch every conversation.

Controlled AI routing
Hermes runs in your isolated workspace. If you enable an external or Managed AI route, the declared provider receives the prompt and selected context; source files, indexes and application credentials remain on your VM.
Check the provider’s terms
Hosting the agent locally does not guarantee local generation. Before activation, check the selected provider, the data sent and its retention and model-training terms.
An agent, not just a chat
Hermes can prepare actions for validated connectors. Execution depends on permissions and approvals required before the action, not approval after the fact.
Explicit costs and limits
With your API key, your provider’s prices and limits apply. Managed AI is a separate option, subject to availability, with allowances and limits shown in Billing. Unlimited AI is not promised.

Office includes local document indexing and search: embeddings are calculated on your server, without a paid AI option. For AI-written answers, connect a model using a compatible API key or the Managed AI option, subject to availability.
